Policy Statement

STRUAN wants to contribute to a world in which people live in social cohesion with each other and their environment. The foundation wants to be part of a world in wich a balanced society can be created by the willingness and effort of all.

STRUAN targets projects of significant sustainable importance. Smaller projects will be considered since STRUAN wants creative thinkers and start ups to be given a fair chance to succeed. These initiatives will be analysed on the aim of STRUAN to create a world in which people do live in harmony with eachother and their surroundings.

STRUAN values highly the responsibility of the people involved in the project and will follow strict guidelines to monitor and continuously improve the projects. STRUAN aims to fund programmes that are based on the principle of income generation. Loans and micro credits will be considered.

Our mission is reflected in 4 strategic programmes.

3. Sustainable Environment
4. Medical Research and Health Care

Every program has a responsible program manager.
The responsibilities of the program manager are:

1. Submit projects to the board
2. Gather projects on the theme
3. Analyse and approve projects on the basis of the approved indicators;
4. Monitor all projects within theme;
5. Report to the board on progress and results of the projects and advise on multi-annual funding.

Programs will be eligible to funding if basically the following principles are recognized:

1. Sustainable and environmental goal of the project is well defined;
2. No government funding has been provided and will be provided;
3. Income generating programme is developed and implemented in the programme;
4. Annual plan and budget of the year before the submission of the grant can be handed over.
